Suzanne Johnston PT and Owner (B.A., B.Sc.P.T.)
I have been a physiotherapist for 19 years and have worked in many different settings including hospital (inpatient/outpatient services), private clinic, and long-term care. I have provided care in orthopaedics, neurology, and palliative care. I have extensive training and experience in orthopaedic injuries, neurological conditions, mobility training, paediatric and geriatric care. I also perform acupuncture as part of physiotherapy treatment and fit for custom orthotics. In recent years, I have also helped develop and deliver education sessions for individuals with chronic pain.
Victoria Windle PT (B.Sc., Ph.D., M.Sc.P.T.)
I have been a physiotherapist for over 5 years working in both long-term care and private practice settings. Prior to becoming a physiotherapist, I conducted research in the area of stroke rehabilitation and I have a Ph.D. in neuroscience. I continue to be interested in neuroscience, and in addition to treating orthopaedic conditions, I work with individuals who have suffered a stroke, or are diagnosed with neurological conditions such as Parkinson's and MS. I have additional post-graduate training in several orthopaedic areas as well as neurorehabilitation, vestibular dysfunction, concussion, myofascial pain, complex regional pain syndrome, and chronic pain. I also use acupuncture, as well as functional dry needling to augment therapy.
